I decided to split up my work of three with Nynne, and upload this one.. I kinda feel their effect is taken away when put together.. somehow.. But then again, I might just be drunk..

Since this just got a DD, I've decided to add the story that kinda tipped the balance:

This is a piece of a dear friend of mine who came to me and said:
"Adam, would you do a series of photos to show who I am?"
I replied: "Who you are?"
"Yes", she said. "I've been diagnosed with Borderline syndrome, and would love to have a piece of art showing the different parts in me."
I sat down wondering what the heck I should do with this.
She came to my place, and we started experimenting with a few things, when this idea suddenly came from out of no were.
I put the light in back of her, asked to pose in these different ways, and here was the result -
Showing a beautiful person, proud, vulnerable, and at times in despair. I chose to do the shots from this angle to show the self inflicted cuts on her arm.
When she saw the finised collage, she came to me and said:
"Adam, thank you - I didn't know such a condition could be seen in such a beautiful way".

To me and partially to herself, the condition is not something to fear and something you would want to cut out of you. It is and will always be a part of her, therefore it should not be hidden away, but be worn as a part of your personality, proudly.
