Help with color profile output Photoshop

Mon Dec 21, 2009, 1:53 AM
I've been having issues with Photoshop cs 4 for some time now.

Each time I edit and save an image (as jpg) it turns out as it should be.
But the moment I send it, put it on a ftp server or it somehow leaves my computer, the color profile changes and it becomes a bit too desaturated and vague in the colors and contrast.

I've tried changing color profiles both as input and output, but I haven't quite figured out what the correct settings should be.

Help anyone?

Earn money doing photos

Thu Nov 26, 2009, 5:15 AM
I've recently been hired as a recruiter for a danish company (YourGlobalEye) with clients all over Scandinavia.

At this point, YourGlobalEye is recruiting photographers (local eyes) for our newest client.

The job is quite simple:
I have a list of shops in Denmark, Norway and Sweden with a specific product inside.
I need for you to visit these shops - take some photographs and upload them on a website.
For each shop, You will be paid 20 Euro (150 DKK).
It's that easy.

The recruiting- and signup system wil be up and running 1.December - so if you're interested in combining Christmas shopping with earning some money, join the facebook group here:
[link] - that way, I can keep track of those interested.

If you're not on facebook - feel free to send me an email on adam@yourglobaleye.com

Regards,
Adam Sund

New York visit 2010

Tue Sep 8, 2009, 10:20 PM
April next year, I'll be visiting the mother of all cities, New York, which I've wanted to do for quite some time now.

Since i'll only be there 1 week (10-17.)I will do what I can to enjoy it, and this is where you guys come in.
If you live in New York or is visiting at that exactly same moment, poke me, and tell me what to see, show me around, or even let me at your place - I promise, I have a delightful morning breath.

I'm going with me brother who just got married, my parents, the wifes parents and a few others - all of whom appreciate good music and especially blues, so feel free to point me in the right direction concerning that.

Still here

Tue Mar 10, 2009, 3:29 AM
Half a year ago, I posted a journal entry with the cathy title "Moving to Shanghai".
Those who know me, and see me in the daily, have probably figured out that I'm not in Shanghai, but in fact, still in Denmark.
So WHY, am I not in Shanghai one might ask. The short answer to that question would be something close to: Financial Crisis.
So I didn't end up moving to Shanghai - had my vaccines and all though, so at least that won't be a problem on my vacation to Egypt in April.
Am i Dissapointed as hell? Not really.
I kinda met a girl in the middle of all of this, and I kinda fell for her, so suddenly Denmark didn't seem so grey and boring. That being said, I've had work here, started teaching some workshop classes in photoshop and studio photography, so it's all good here.

Yeah, I thought I kinda needed to update my journal entries.

Moving to Shanghai

Yeah, I'm moving.
At this moment, I'm waiting for the contract to be sent, so I can sign what will put me on chinese soil the next 2 years.
My name is Adam and my body is a cauldron of odd and confusing feelings.

To give you guys a brief idea of what's up, here's the deal:
In june, I was paired up with a person at an exibition I took part in for the artist Kasper Købke. It turned out, this person was working for House of Scandinavian Design in Shanghai, and a few hours later, she was convinced that I should work for them as their Chief Photographer, doing the commercial photos for the House.
Now, 2 months later, the product of that conversation has lead to where I am today:
- Having to figure what to do with my appartment here in Copenhagen.
- Thinking about selling stuff I won't bring along to the far east.
- Should I have taken Salsa lessons when I had the time? I'll probably be swamped in work.
- Will AS Photography become the coolest brand like... ever?
- Am I good enough?
- Are there any hot chicks in Shanghai?
- Will my perception of a crowded area be different, because I'll be taller than most?
- How the fuck will I have time to meet up with friends and have the best time of our lives before I leave to the other side of the world?

Oddly enough, I find this to be the time for sobbing and isolating myself in my appartment, listen to Epic Rock (thank you Alter Bridge for that second album) and stream movies while planning the route to the kitchen in order to revitalize my hung over body - Ohh Yes, last night was an evening of partying and danceoffs.

Set aside personal fears of leaving stuff (and by stuff, I mean life as it is - nice and secure), this is one hell of an opportunity.
House of Scandinavian design is huge, this job is huge, my chance of actually letting people know what AS Photography is and stands for, is overwhelmingly present.

Feel free to comment in whatever sarcastic, funny, empathic or informational way you see fit.
Know stuff about Shanghai? Let me know.
Live in Shanghai? Let me know you.
Got membershipcard to the 5 Hooters restaurants in Shanghai - Let me have it.. Please.
